Overview

In the last year, we've been working on a brand new desktop application to manage your team(s) which we are excited for your team to use. It's called the PitcheroGPS Team app and is available on both Windows and Mac.

Admins have been sent an email with a link to schedule migration to the new Team app.

Benefits of moving to the Team app

  • The Team app supports multiple teams under one organisation so users can easily view data across teams and trackers can be interchanged between teams.
  • The Team app works with your current trackers and dock. No need for any new or additional equipment.

  • The session dashboard now shows all charts straightaway so coaches and analysts can access the data which matters straight away.
  • Splits can also be created on the session dashboard without the need to drill-down into a player first
  • Can now set a HSR threshold for more accurate team metrics.
  • Improved PDF reporting as you can be now produce detailed team reports and separate individual player reports
  • No longer need the separate transfer tool. This is all built into the Team app for a faster transfer process.

  • Samples data at 10hz rather than 1hz which means we are looking at 10x the data points each second.

Migrate to the Team app

All teams have been contacted via email during January to confirm migration preferences. Click the link in the email to schedule your team's migration to the new Team app.

Our support team will then migrate your team(s), and your chosen amount of historical sessions into the new Team app on your preferred migration date.

Only 1 admin needs to complete the form on behalf of the team.

FAQs

How do I migrate my team?

Don't worry, any of the heavy lifting will be done for you. All you need to do is click the form link in the email confirming:

  • Your preferred date to complete the migration

  • Your chosen amount of historical session data to be carried over to the Team app

Our team will then liaise with you to complete the migration and help you get set-up on the new Team app.

When does my team need to migrate to the new Team app?

Your team should migrate to the new Team app at the earliest opportunity. We plan to migrate all teams before the end of January 2026.

Completing the form and selecting options to suit you and your team will ensure a smooth transition.

Is my login the same on the Team app?

No, you will need to create a new account on the Team app. Don't worry, the process is seamless and you can use the same email address as before.

Will the existing session data be migrated?

Yes, your team can carry existing session data from the last 12 months to the Team app. This will be handled internally for you - no input required from your admins.

Are the settings the same on the Team app?

Yes, you can apply the same settings on the Team app as on the legacy Team web, including custom speed zones and HSR.

What's more, the Team app samples data at 10hz rather than 1hz which means we are looking at 10x the data points each second compared to the legacy system which will result in much more accurate metrics being reported.

Do I still have access to the legacy Team web?

Yes, you still have access to the legacy Team web to view and export existing session data for the team until Friday 27th February 2026.

After completing the migration, the team will no longer be able to upload new sessions using the Transfer Tool to the legacy Team web. All new sessions must be uploaded using the Team app.
