Overview
Use the PitcheroGPS Team app to manage the team's game and training sessions.
Once a sessions has been transferred from the GPS trackers, the data can be viewed and analysed.
You may also need to make changes to the session details, trim parts of the session you wish to discard (e.g. the walk to the pitch/walk back to the changing room, merge multiple sessions that happened on the same day, and delete a session that your team no longer needs the data for.
Edit the session details
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the PitcheroGPS Team App on your Windows/Mac desktop
- Click 'All Sessions' from the left menu (the options menu icon if using the collapsed menu)
- Locate the session and click the options menu (three horizontal dots) on the right side of the screen
- Click 'EDIT' at the top of the screen
- Update the session details
- Click 'SAVE'
Tip:
If you wish to edit the start and end time of the session, this involves trimming the session. Please see the section below for more information.
Trim a session
Trimming session is a quick way to remove unwanted data at the start and/or end of the session (e.g. players walking from the changing room to the pitch and/or walking back to the changing room after the session).
Trimming a session applies to each player's data in the session.
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the PitcheroGPS Team App on your Windows/Mac desktop
- Click 'All Sessions' from the left menu (the options menu icon if using the collapsed menu)
- Locate the session and click the options menu (three horizontal dots) on the right side of the screen
- Click 'EDIT' at the top of the screen
- Click the pencil icon on the start or end time of the session
- Drag the start and/or end times on the chart to select the data you wish to keep
- Or manually enter the start and end times at the bottom of the screen
- Click 'SAVE' in the top right corner of the screen
The session data will be updated to cover the start and end times selected.
Tip:
If you know the specific start and end time of the session (e.g. the game started at 3pm), you can enter these in the Time section at the bottom of the screen.
Please note:
Trimming a session applies to each player's data in the session. If there is a spike/anomaly for one of the players, trimming the start/end of the session may not resolve this.
The original session data is still stored on the Team App after the session start and/or end time has been trimmed. Simply edit the start/end times again, and drag the times to the original placements.
Merge sessions
You can merge two or more sessions that happened on the same day.
Tip:
If your team has more than 20 trackers, you can transfer the session data on to the same session.
Alternatively, you can transfer them as separate sessions on the same day and merge them on the Team app if needed.
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the PitcheroGPS Team App on your Windows/Mac desktop
- Click 'All Sessions' from the left menu (the options menu icon if using the collapsed menu)
- Locate the sessions listed on the same date
- Click the merge icon for one of the sessions on the right side of the screen
- Select the other session(s) you wish to merge in the Merge Sessions overlay
- Click 'Continue'
Please note:
- Sessions are linked to the team in the organisation, not the organisation. If your team has multiple teams, a session for one team cannot be moved to a different team or merged with another team's session on the same date.
- Once a session has been merged with another session, the action cannot be reversed.
Delete a session
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the PitcheroGPS Team App on your Windows/Mac desktop
- Click 'All Sessions' from the left menu (the options menu icon if using the collapsed menu)
- Locate the session and click the options menu (three horizontal dots) on the right side of the screen
- Click 'EDIT' at the top of the screen
- Update the session details
- Click 'DELETE'
- Click 'CONFIRM' to delete the session
Please note:
Once deleted from the team on the PitcheroGPS Team App, the session cannot be restored.
