Overview
There are a number of performance metrics available to analyse within the PitcheroGPS web app.
For reference, all time measurements are displayed in hours and minutes (HH:MM) and all speed-related metrics are displayed in kilometres per hour or metres per second.
Performance metric definitions
Performance metric | Description | Unit of measurement |
Session length | The total length of the recorded game or training session. | HH:MM |
Distance |
The total distance covered during a recorded game or training session. | Kilometres and metres |
Default speed zones
|
Brackets for each speed zone:
|
Kilometres per hour (kmph) or metres per second (m/s) |
Max speed | Maximum speed achieved by an individual player in a session. | Kilometres per hour (kmph) |
Accelerations | The number of times an individual player accelerated over the specified metres per second squared threshold (m/s²). | Number of instances |
Decelerations | The number of times an individual player decelerated below the specified metres per second squared threshold (m/s²). | Number of instances |
Impacts |
The number of times an individual tracker recorded a g-force greater than the specified threshold. In practice, this would pick up heavy tackles and landings, to help with injury prevention. |
Number of instances |
