Troubleshooting

This section covers common troubleshooting queries:

  • The session isn't showing on the app
    • Once a session has been recorded on the GPS tracker, it needs to be transferred to your account on the app (the session does not show automatically on the app without completing the transfer).
    • The session date will show the actual date of the recorded session, not the date that the session was transferred to your account on the mobile app.
  • The session data doesn't appear to be accurate
    • We're sorry to hear that the session data captured on the GPS tracker isn't quite what you expected to see.
    • Your PitcheroGPS tracker contains a GPS chip to record speed metrics during your sessions. The PitcheroGPS tracker is certified by FIFA and World Rugby and the accuracy of the data is deemed above industry standard.
    • There are some circumstances that could lead to less accurate data recorded by the GPS tracker. These include:
      • The tracker is used indoors in which case the tracker cannot get a strong satellite connection.
      • The tracker is used outside but not in direct view of the sky (e.g. under a tree, next to a high-rise building. This can lead to losing/weakening the satellite signal for the tracker.
      • Overhead cables/wires can interfere with the GPS satellite signal. This impact should be reduced as a result of the April 2026 update (see below).

April 2026 Update:

We enhanced the way we calculate speed metrics to improve accuracy.

You may notice slight changes in metrics such as Max Speed, HSR Distance, HSR Count, Acceleration, and Deceleration.

To ensure consistency, we’ve also reprocessed your historical sessions using the updated method, so your trends and personal bests remain aligned with future data.

  • I deleted a session, can it be restored?
    • Once erased, the session cannot be restored. Only erase the session if you do not need to view the session data in the future.
