Transfer session data to my PitcheroGPS app

This article provides information on transferring session data from the PitcheroGPS tracker to the app.

Before the transfer

Before transferring the session to your PitcheroGPS account on the app, there are some things for you to check:

  • You have ended the session by turning the tracker off
  • There is sufficient battery left on the tracker (if not, charge the tracker first)
  • Your phone has a solid internet connection and has Bluetooth turned on

Starting and during the transfer


  • Turn the tracker on by pressing and holding the button on the tracker until the progress bar fills
  • A green file icon will show a session is ready to be transferred
  • Open the PitcheroGPS app on your phone and tap the blue "+" icon at the bottom of the screen
  • The app will search for the tracker. Once found, the tracker will show a green Bluetooth icon and the app with "Device connected"
  • Tap "Transfer". The transfer will start and will take up to 60 seconds (depending on the length of the session)
    • The tracker will show the green file icon again but with an arrow pointing to the right (indicating the transfer has started).
    • The app will show a blue bar (indicating the progress of the session transfer (up to 100%).
    • Do not lock your screen or switch apps until the transfer is complete.
  • Tap "Next" once the transfer has been completed
  • The session will be erased from the tracker
  • The tracker will turn off automatically, ready to turn back on and record a new session
  • Enter the session details (including match/training, name, and location) and tap "Done"
    • The session date cannot be changed.
  • Tap "View Now" to view the session straight away or "Done" to return to the Activity screen

After the transfer

After the transfer has been completed, the session will be erased from the tracker so it's ready to record a new session.

The session data will be available to view on the app, edit the data and compare it with other session trends.
